"Sorry Jamie" (Threw it on the ground!) Vault 502 Ft. Lonely Island
Piter de Vries: "Concerning my plan..." Baron Harkonnen: "MY plan!" Piter, begrudgingly: "THE plan..." I don't know why but this exchange just sends me every time.
Way better than the remake
2:47 familiar face
"God created Arrakis to train the faithful. One cannot go against the word of God."
don't feel very refreshing to me - more male ego cultish, violence, lack demos.... like modified feudalism of the 20th C. Good luck to earth if continue to be led by such unenlightened jokers. Sooo outdated in perspectives.
What music is used here?
Too quiet my phone needs a more powerful speaker
Lol @ that cute cat!
here to get hyped before Dune 2 tomorrow!
Very nice upload!

I hadn't read or watched ANYTHING Dune related until I was 30 this year. It was an EXPERIENCE. I had no idea how freaking epic this is. This edit was ok but the Halo music detracted a bit
Duke Jared Leto
This film had such a unique vibe to it that resonates with me even now, in 2023. Lynch is too hard on himself for this alleged "failure". It was a brave attempt to bring a very involved, some might say convoluted, novel to the big screen.
fear is the mindkiller - i want you to panic ... ... ...
You have no authority for that to happen.

David Lynch did not have a huge budget .I love the cinematography.the designs are timeless
Didn't have a high budget? This movie had a $42 million budget. Now today that is a relatively low budget film. But at the time it was very high budget. Empire Strikes Back, The Return of the Jedi, Blade Runner all cost around $30 million. The most obvious film with a higher budget from that era was Superman at $55 million. Dune was probably one of the biggest budget movie of the year. Whatever it's excuses are, at least for its era, a low budget should not be one.
They have done it several times.. I have watched all of the films and mini series... The books are far better... Too much is packed in them to do it correctly...they tried...
I will NEVER watch the remake - that frankly is an INSULT to the story! THIS is the only and BEST DUNE!
New one isnt remake
get a cat scan. please
It's an adaptation, which means it's not a 1:1 recreation of the book
What's with the eyebrows? Seriously.
I’d love to see Patrick Stewart and Josh Brolin do an “Actors on Actors” together.
Best movie ever…. period.
I love this film and I understand the choices made, given the limits of movie technologies at the time. I have always wanted to see "The Weirding Way," and was hoping the new multi-part movie would do so, show it like in the book. But.....they didn't. Paul is a good fighter, but it's the weirding way that puts him profoundly better. It is also the Weirding Way that was taught to the Fremen(sp?) that helped them decimate the Sadakar (sp?_). However, similar to LotR, I love this universe and any content, however imagined or reimagined, is golden.
Can you please do another one of these it's been years
Batman was inspired by Zorro to create his alter ego excellent video
Comedy.
Is it weird that I liked this one better than the 2021 version?
Also: Captain of Uboot saying "I'll miss the sea".
I just searching for quote "Usul, we have wormsign the likes of which even God has never seen"
I adore this movie and I am a huge fan of the books as well, saw it when it first came out and was completely blown away...and was very puzzled about the weak reception of the movie...yeah, it tinkered with the plot from the books a bit (OK, a lot in some instances) but I think its a fantastic adaptation. I still like the movie more than the new movie that has come out and its damn good as well. The new movies are missing something...I think its the weirdness that Lynch brought to the table that made the first movie stand out so much and made it feel (At least to me) Exotic and Alien. The only complaint I really have with the original is I wish the Baron had been a bit more toned down and menacing, it was way the fuck over the top...and the new movie has nailed perfectly. Have watched the original at least 40-50 times over the years and when I read the books, the images of the characters in the movie come to my minds eye. Fantastic adaptation...the version that adds all the missing bits on RUclips is brilliant and in my mind is the final and perfect version of the original.
Jürgen prochnow saying he will miss the sea is somewhat irnonic
They dream a dream so majestic and we come to bring witness to that dream and it is our eyes that make it real.
As a wild ass in the desert. Go I forth, to my work.
Paul and stilgar riding the worm is one of the most epic scenes in all science fiction
This edited compilation is better than either of the movies; also that Patrick Steward scene charging forward holding the dog is epic.
Damn there's some big actors in this and I've never even seen it lol
The 2021 version does not have one scene that competes with any of these. Sci Fi cinema may be dead.
Extrémela cool.
'She's going to observe you.' 'The fuck does that mean?'
Lord, have mercy!
The new movie is completely and utterly devoid of scenes like these. Everything is nothing but exhibition of VFX and music. From the technical stand-point the new movie is superior, but the movie has character, scenes you remember and visuals that blow your mind. Good job, you made multi million movie. It's been 5 minutes. And I already forgot all of it.
paul atreides had perfect hair
The best quote from this movie is "he who controls the spice controls the universe" I use it all the time at dinner it works well.
I’d say the music is too much lol.
"Make it so Number 1 ........ I mean Leto."
The Sunshine background music was silly
hasta pronto pequeño cachorro!..........................................
1984: "Not in the mood? Mood's a thing for cattle and loveplay!" 2021: "Mood? What's mood to do with it? You fight when the necessity arises, _no matter_ the mood!" I frankly like the new one a lot more. The other one is ridiculous shakespearian nonsense. (Not a jab at Sir Patrick Stewart.)
Such a great film even tho it had pacing issues...love it...made me a better person..
"from the amazing Dune movie by David Lynch" Wait what? Your joking right? Lynch's movie is a horerid mess that deserve all the flak it is getting from the fan base. Lynch him self have been out admitting he didn't READ the book but only skimmed through it. Which is also were the whole Sonic weapons they use later in the movie comes from. Since he had only read "They can use they voice as a weapon" Which he translated into sonic weapons WHICH it have nothing to do it.. And also most of the vehicle flys in the face of the descriptions in the book.. THe cast was good yeah. But they ALL suffered from poor writing and over acting.
The acting was so hammy.
